Reflections – Champagne Masterclass

We are so excited to announce that Champagne Ambassador, Kyla Kirkpatrick, aka The Champagne Dame, will be joining us at Sip Champagne Bar for a very special Champagne Masterclass to celebrate her 20 Year Anniversary of giving up her career and buying a one-way ticket to France to start her life again. This afternoon of storytelling and champagne tasting is a celebration of her life, career and passion for champagne. Be prepared for some exceptional bubbles, delicious cheeses, and colourful storytelling. Reflections will be a recap of her 20-year love affair with Champagne.

About Us
At Sip Champagne Bar what drives us is passion – a passion for unique and inspiring drinks and food in a luxurious and elegant atmosphere and where our guest’s experience is our highest priority.
Lauren has an extensive background in Dance, having owned and operated a local dance school for 15 years (and who, it must be said, has quite a significant passion for all things Champagne!)
Enchanted by sophisticated bars in Paris and throughout Europe, Lauren first had the inspiration for a Champagne Bar back in 2020, during lockdown.
Supported by her husband, David, whose background is in IT and Marketing, they have researched and invested hundreds of hours over the past two and a half years to find the perfect intimate space and offerings to bring Lauren’s vision of a beautiful French Art Deco inspired Champagne Bar to realisation.
Having been avid supporters over the past thirty or so years of many a wine and cocktail bar, both locally and overseas, Lauren saw an opportunity to offer something new, and a little bit different, to Ballarat. A space where your best dress or a bowtie won’t be out of place and sequins are highly encouraged! So whether it be a table for two, or a larger gathering of friends, Sip Champagne Bar invites you to spoil yourself and indulge in a unique and memorablee afternoon or evening.

Do you take bookings?
We encourage reservations online and welcome walk-ins. Due to the intimacy of our venue, please contact us directly on 0493 798 009 or hello@sipchampagne.bar for reservations of over 6 guests.
How much time am I allocated with my booking?
We offer a two hour table or bar seating. Should you wish to extend your stay, please let our team know and we will do our best to accommodate your request based on availabilty.
What Credit Cards are accepted?
We accept all mjor credit cards (except Diners). Please note a surcharge of 0.2% to 1.8% on all credit and debit cards will apply.
Do you have surcharges?
Please note a 10% surcharge on Sundays and a 15% surcharge on public holidays applies.
What is your dress code?
Sequins and bow ties are encouraged darlings, but not essential! Definetly no thongs or singlets please.

Can I bring my own birthday cake?
Of course! A plating surcharge of $5 per guest will apply to cover the cost of the bar’s service and resources, such as plates, utensils and staff time required to serve and present the cake to your party.

Is your venue appropriate for children?
